Jane has academic training in adult and vocational education, instructional design, and human resources. She is also a qualified interior designer.
Jane has had extensive experience in varied industries including travel, tourism, hospitality, event management, TV media, marketing, personnel, education and training. She has managed a number of retail and transport businesses, and organised major international conferences and national events. An interesting aside to Jane’s exposure to the world of private business was her time as divisional administrator within the education facility of Griffith University in Brisbane, Queensland.
Jane has travelled extensively for both business and recreational purposes. She has visited, or led tour groups to major European countries, the British Isles, the Americas, major Asian countries, Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, and throughout Australia.
Jane makes friends quickly and easily creates long-term relationships. She finds the company of others stimulating and rewarding, particularly when leading groups. She has a strong sense of self and has a confident disposition. Jane is careful by nature, but tempers this with a degree of spontaneity.
